DECKS
Because horizontal surfaces collect airborne dust, dirt, and tree pollen, which contribute to mold growth, decks should be cleaned once in the spring and once in the fall with Tropical Pro™ Professional Grade Wood & Deck Cleaner (Part A) to assure a natural wood appearance. Before treatment, new decks should be allowed to acclimate for a few days to remove any surface moisture and mill glaze. Decks should be treated with Tropical Pro™ Decking & Cladding Oil (Low VOC Formula) no more than twice a year. Excess product not absorbed when applied should be removed to prevent tackiness and surface sheen. For more information, visit TropicalPro.com. If oiled finish is desired, best practice is to finish boards on all faces and edges prior to installation. This slows the woods acclimation process and reduces the potential for wood movement.
In place of all warranties, expressed or implied, the manufacturer’s and seller’s only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of Tropical Pro™ Decking & Cladding Oil (Low VOC Formula) as is proven to be defective. Seller and manufacturer shall not be liable for loss or damage connected with the use and/or handling of this product.
Users should determine the suitability of this product for the intended use before applying it. The user assumes all risks and liability associated therewith.
