This Tropical Pro™ 100 sq ft Pro Deck Clip Kit 140mm contains the necessary hidden fasteners, screws, drill and driver bits to install 100 sq. ft. (9.29 ml) of 6″-wide (140mm) Tropical Pro™ deck boards onto stringers spaced 16 inches (40.6 cm) on center. Use in combination with other Tropical Pro Decking and Cladding Products. For installation of side grooved hardwood decking, use drilling guide and drill bit with stop to drill 45 degree hole through edge of deck board only. Do not drill into stringer.
Use center hole of drilling guide and single wing of clip along main length of deck board. Where boards butt together, reverse clip and use outside shafts of drilling guide to drill holes and install one screw through each wing to create a mechanical connection between decking boards and stringer. This unique clip design prevents shifting at butt joints and maintains consistent spacing between deck boards.
