Tropical Pro™ Clad Clips are the gold standard for attaching Tropical Pro™ and Thermotech™ Wood Rain screen, cladding, paneling, and soffit. Clad clips eliminate the need for drilling and fastening through the wood.
This dramatically extends the service life of the wood cladding by removing points of water intrusion. Manufactured from Marine-grade aluminum, these clad clips are highly resistant to deterioration and are non combustible. A black electrophoretic coating reduces clip visibility.
The electrophoretic coating creates a barrier which further reduces the potential for galvanic reaction between the clip and screw.
For attachment to wood sheathing, use Tropical Pro™ #10 x 1″ (25.4 mm) 316 Stainless Steel Pan Head Screw. Use two screws per aluminum clad clip (high wind).
